Cover Letter for Felicity Durham
My name is Felicity Durham, and I am looking to begin my career in Real Estate. I have no previous experience in the Real Estate Industry, however I have completed my registration on Wednesday 19/03/08 at Lismore NCI. I will then be commencing my license course in 26/03/08 until 01/10/08 at NCI Lismore.
I am in great need of a job so that I can pay for the course, my next payment is due May 07.
Having no experience in this field, I believe my prior experience has helped me form the foundations I need to become a successful Real Estate Agent. My parents owned a balloon shop for the majority of my life to date, and I worked with them on many jobs, giving me an early sense of discipline. I worked there every weekend whilst at school, and that gave me a lot of experience with sales and customer service. I worked as an administration officer at the Plumbing industry Commission in Melbourne for 2 years, before moving into bar work for the next 3 years. Working in the bar industry gave me the necessary communication skills and discipline needed to survive in any environment. I worked in 14 different bars all over Melbourne, Great Keppel Island and the Gold Coast. Having all of this experience, I have become very adaptable to changing environments.
After working in the bar, I decided to move to telemarketing for a timeshare company. I was very successful in the positions I held. My feedback was always positive with great emphasis on my rapport building skills.
My partner and I have recently moved to Rosebank, and we are very happy with our decision to live here. We enjoy the peace and privacy most of all. Having lived in Melbourne, Great Keppel, The Gold Coast and just west of Byron, I believe I can sell anything to anyone because the chances are, I have lived in the same kind of area they have. I see the positives and negatives in living in either a busy city environment, the beach or the serenity of the hills.
My skills entail photography, creative writing, Microsoft Office, communication, organization and many more.
I am excited to begin my career in Real Estate and I know I have the necessary drive, determination, and discipline to succeed.
